How far you've come

Image from: http://www.livelifehappy.com/always-focus-on-how-far-youve-come

It's easy to get caught up in the list of things you need to accomplish each day. Instead of being happy that I finished something, I tend to quickly move on to the next item on my list, focusing on what is left to do.

Sometimes, though, I remember to take a moment to think about what I have accomplished, and to feel good about that.

It's important to take time to celebrate your accomplishments! Sometimes, this means just taking a moment to smile and internally congratulate yourself on finishing that difficult task you had been working on for a while. Sometimes, it is a tiny task, but one that you have dreaded doing, and you feel like you have accomplished something great by tackling it head-on.

Sometimes, this moment of congratulation doesn't come naturally, and you should force yourself to pay attention to what you have accomplished.

Something that may leave you feeling a bit warm and fuzzy would be to sit down for a minute and write (or type) out a list of things you have accomplished. These could be big things that you have accomplished over your lifetime, or smaller things you have accomplished over the past few days or weeks. Either way, write them down and take a moment to think about how great you are, and how far you've come.

Don't let yourself get too caught up in the future and what you have yet to do with your life! Take a moment to think about how far you've come, and how proud you should be for getting to where you are today.

Gandhi

Something I truly believe:

This is my foster cat, named Gandhi, who was adopted earlier this year.

I foster cats through Cat Rescue Maritimes, an absolutely wonderful organization.

More cuteness than you can handle

This video is full of absolutely adorable animals.

Owls, cats, bunnies, hedgehogs, puppies, a slow loris, a sloth, a hamster, turtles, and so much more. All doing incredibly adorable things. It’s all you could ever ask for in a video, in my opinion.

I can't stop smiling whenever I watch it. If you're in need of a smile this morning, here you go! Who doesn't need some extra cuteness in their day?

And if you've already seen it, who cares? Watch it again.

Warning: Content may be too cute to handle.

Making Friends

A ball pit was set up on the sidewalk. A sign said “take a seat, find a friend.” There were different questions inside of the balls for them to ask each other. If you have a couple of minutes, this is very cute, and quite touching!

Beginning today...

Think about how much this would change your interactions with the people you love, and even with strangers! We should all try to do this as much as possible.
